Get ready for "Cars and Cameras" – the ultimate event for aspiring automotive photographers! Whether you're just starting out or looking to hone your skills, this event offers a unique chance to learn from seasoned "Guide Photographers." You'll get to shoot stunning vehicles you rarely see up close, all beautifully staged in professional setups around Griots property.
Imagine cars posed in small groups of 1 to 3, each arranged like a magazine-worthy photoshoot. This isn’t your typical car meet; it's a playground for creativity, where you can take your time to craft the perfect shot.
Our Guide Photographers, easily spotted in their blue high-vis vests, will be on hand to share their expertise. They'll cover everything from composition and camera techniques to hardware recommendations, software tips, and even business and networking advice.
There will be staged cars from many subcultures in attendance! JDM, Euro, Stance, Motorsports, Supercars and Offroad trucks! We hope to see you there, don’t forget your camera!

Jori began his passion for automotive photography at the age of eight, using a JVC VHS camcorder to create stop-motion films of Hot Wheels car races in his childhood home. He meticulously moved each car a few centimeters at a time, pressing "REC" for less than a second to advance the tape. This dedication continued as he acquired a Canon 7D and a 1984 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce at 16. The rest is history.
Michael "Jori" Ericson is an Automotive and Motorsports Photographer that specializes in telling a story through both photos and the written word. He has been published by Speedhunters, PASMAG, Toyo Tires, and more. When he's not shooting photos of cars, it's usually experimenting with Portraiture or Street photography.

Neri has had a passion for cars ever since he was a little kid, growing up in a household with jobs in the automotive field and automotive influence all around him. Neri wanted to be an automotive designer when he was young because he appreciated the style and intentionality that went into the design of a car. At around the age of 16, Neri started exploring photography where he found his true passion and drive. Neri took his love for automotive design and photography and put them together in the form of automotive photography. This let Neri expand his experience with photography while also keeping the passion alive without getting burnt out by photographing cars that were visually appealing. Neri loves meeting new people and working with them to get pictures of the pride and joy that is their car.

Karmen Trebolo, a self-taught professional photographer with a passion for capturing the thrilling world of motorsports and the unique personalities and natural beauty of my subjects. She calls Portland, Oregon her home, but she’s often traveling to attend a variety of motorsports events, or capture beautiful sceneries she can share with everyone.
During the pandemic, She had a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign her priorities. It was a time of introspection and clarity, allowing her to delve deep into what truly brings her joy and fulfillment in life. That's when she decided to wholeheartedly pursue her passion for photography.

Born and raised just outside Detroit, Derick has had a passion for cars since before he could walk. Derick spent most of his childhood playing with, and drawing cars, and it wasn't until college that he decided to combine his interest in art with his passion for cars, picking up a camera and running the business division for his school's Formula SAE program, before eventually becoming a co-captain.
As a photographer, Derick specializes in commercial-style automotive photography, and is well-versed in getting a business up and running. He has been published in Avants Magazine, Toyo Tires, Jalopnik, and more. Outside of automotive photography, he enjoys wildlife photography and hopes to one day go on wildlife photo assignments.
